Introduction

This project shows the typing lessons created for the gnutypist program as a web application. This does not include any of the lessons themselves, only a script to convert them to web pages. It also does not include any of the created HTML files. A working example of the application can be seen at http://hypatype.squte.com/gtypist.html.

The lessons can be downloaded from gtypist.

Requirements

Perl 5 and bash.

This has been run on Windows, using cygwin. It should also work on *nix, but that hasn't been tested.

Instructions

To build the web application:

unzip gtypeweb.zip into an empty directory.
create a sub-directory called 'lessons', and put the wanted gnutypist lessons (.typ files) into this.
run the command "./typ2htmldir.sh"

The lessons index file is gtypist.html, which will need manually updating to match the lessons used.
